Nice,

Hmm, very interesting, good use of sound effects, but the actual "beat" is a little lacking I think, strong bass would help, as well as "logical" harmony/melody, which both appear to be absent. Anyways, this is still a nice track, good work, catchy drum beat

LJCoffee responds:

Thanks for your feedback. I'm not certain what you mean by a "logical" harmony/melody though - standard chord progressions can feel a little formulaic don't you think? - and they've all been done before - I'm experimenting a bit with more dissonant arrangements - some of it works out well, some of it doesn't...

a five for originality though - that hurt a little... I didn't realize that I was stumbling where so many others have tread before...

Oh well again... some will like it some won't I guess...

Thanks again. I do appreciate the feedback.

Not bad

Hmm, this is a nice sad piece, nice use of rain effect in the background, my onlt real criticism is that it is very simple, which can be good, although it does tend to get boring after a while. A good job anyways

toxicbomb responds:

Thanks. Your citicism is appreciated :)

I'll have to agree with the guy before me

Although it's good to share your music,, I think perhaps you should get a better understanding of what you're trying to represent. I would suggest listening to some actual "psychadelic" jazz before you try to recreate it, for instance "Bitches Brew", Miles Davis and Wayne Shorter. Oh, and more drugs.

IamBetterThanYou responds:

yeah, i made this a long time ago and the name is kind of misleading- i was looking for a title and the music didn't remind me of any genre i'd heard, so i just came up with the first thing that came to mind.

you'll be glad to know i have since given up electronic music, and am concentrating on playing guitar.

sounds good

I thought this was a very good track, solid playing and back-up vocals. The only criticism I would have would be of the lead singer, it just sounds like he isn't really into the song, isn't feeling the music as much man. Anyways, it still sounds good and original.

thefleshfarm responds:

Thank you for your review! I appreciate your honesty and invite you to review the other tracks we have posted. Constructive critisism helps us alot! Thanks again!

Pretty bitchin

This is a good track man, the only suggestion I would have would be to change the name, the title doesn't really portray the image that the music sets if you know what I mean. Like when I think of a firefight in a musical sense, I would think like more wild and loud and like dangerous man you know! But like, it's your music and it sounds good whatever it's called so yeah.

xtreme-limit responds:

Yea I would agree that the idea this could bring out could different for some people. In my case, it represents the state of vulnerability that someone might feel when they are Under Fire. Its sort of a metaphor, not to be taken literally. You could be under fire by problems or stuff like that. ne way... Thanx 4 the review!

yeah

It sounds aight man, just make sure people know you didn't write this song, Herbie Hancock did.

FUNKbrs responds:

Hey, covering Herbie is hard. I only wish I knew a sax player....
